A coastal retreat for gathering friends and family on the edge of the Atlantic.
The architecture of this home is bold and monolithic. A darker material palette was selected by the architect to reference local barn strutures in the area. Although striking, from the coast the building blends into the landscape that surrounds it.
In total contrast, the interior is designed to be textural, soft and comfortable with a restrained colour palette. This approach to the interior design allows the surrounding dramatic landscape and seascape to be the star of the home.
As a coastal second home, the main priority for our clients was low maintenance, relaxed and to create a space for gathering their family and friends from across the globe.
